Weekly Photo Challenge: The Transformation Within

Life is constant change but many of us remain stagnant in who we are as people our entire lives.  We stick to wrong and false beliefs that we learned from other dysfunctional people in our lives.  We do what the world tells us to do, not what God means for us to do in our lives.  We are not letting God do a transformation within us.

It was written that God called from heaven when Jesus was baptized telling Him who He was to God.  How many of us will never hear what God thinks of us because we have all kinds of stumbling blocks by not living the life destined for us,  being disobedient, selfish & self-centered or being distracted by all the other things in the world in our lives everyday. How many of us will ever really be up to the challenge of “Taking up our cross to follow Jesus?”  How many of us let the Holy Spirit minister to us with an open spirit ourselves?  Are any of us really willing to be obedient “even unto death” with all the pleasures and treasures tempting us here on earth? It is a hard and narrow to path to walk in righteousness and hence the reason Jesus said few will enter the gates of heaven.  You have to have the heart for God to be willing to sacrifice personal gain and pleasure to serve Him.  Peace be to all who read and understand.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Heritage

I don’t really have one.

Photo Challenge from May 17th.  Not sure why I am getting so bad about participating lately, these are good challenges.  It might be because to speak of my heritage I am uncomfortable because of all the secrets and lies that still exist about everything.

My mother always told us we were “mutts” when we asked “what we were.”  I never really thought about it or cared, now the media labels everyone and you have to wear your label proudly.  They’re nuts in my opinion.  No one should care what they are genetically but should all venture to be children of God, again in my opinion.  When we did a project for school for “geography” the teacher asked us all our nationalities.  I told her I didn’t know mine.  My mother told me to tell her I was an American and that’s all she needs to know.  Can you imagine a teacher asking all the kids this question in modern liberal America?  LMAO!

We are a mostly white family and most of my friends were mostly white as well.  When I think back to our neighborhoods, white basically, we were not welcome in them.  Not hated but shunned because we were different in oh so many ways.  There might be something different about the races and nationalities.  I know there is somewhat with certain tendencies you do see in certain people.  With my own children my oldest looked more Native American and acted it.  Very quiet and calm of nature.  Stoic in the true description, even to this day.  My other son born was fairer and louder and way more aggressive.  I thought of him as the “Aryan” and yes that is said to be funny.  They were different in looks and temperament.

My mother is such a strange person anyway and made cracks to me when I was older when she first told me about her dad, whose pictures I saw hidden as a teen, that were then taken and destroyed.  “Didn’t you know I was a “passer?”  I asked her what that was and she told me.  Didn’t phase me, still doesn’t but I learned one important thing in life.  It does not matter what you are, it only matters what other people think you are.

My mother said she was never allowed to see pictures of her dad, but when I described them she said that has to be him because of how people spoke of him.  He left when she was young and died in California of tuberculosis soon after his 30th birthday.  My grandmother, from Jewish ancestry that married into Christianity,  had a shotgun wedding as a teen to a dark man with a fro and she had hidden pictures of them together when they were young, teens.  I only recently found out that his mother, my great-grandmother could have had various children with different fathers and that she had lost two of her first babies to severe malnourishment or what they called marasmus on their death certificates.  Starvation due to extenuating circumstances of her husband always running off and they didn’t have welfare or social services at the start of the 20th century.  These are the circumstances that Welfare was originally designed for.

Supposedly both my dad’s parents were part Native American but who really knows anymore?  I don’t think of Gram Goldie or Grandfather Drew as my grandparents.  Met them a couple of times, they didn’t give a darn about any of us kids our entire lives.  I would love to get DNA testing but hear it’s not all that accurate plus expensive.  I really would love to do this if only to open yet another Pandora’s Box of unanswered questions to add to those swirling around in my head.

My heritage is an unGodly mix of secrets and adults to busy or selfish to care.  A recipe for disaster and destruction, a pattern that is far too common but explains why the world is in the state it is in.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Miracles Instead of Magic

Magic is false.  Trickery like “smoke and mirrors.”  Miracles are unexplained occurences that are very real indeed to those blessed enough to experience them.  I believe that they happen more often than many think but most are not aware of it.

Even though I try not to be superstitious, I am the type that would see “Jesus” in a Jesus shape on my pancake.  There’s a lot of that going around and I did see a “king” in a rainbow print that I posted about previously.  I’m sure someone else would have just been upset because of the stain.

I also know there are no coincidences or so they say.  I’ve lost a lot in my life. Enough to make lesser people completely give up and funny I recently was about to do just that when I came across a book written by someone I once knew many years ago, a well known pastor by the name of David Wilkerson who wrote “The Cross and the Switchblade” that was turned into a movie.  Some of you may be familiar with it.  I had never before seen the book that got my attention with a jolt, “Have You Felt Like Giving Up Lately” just when I was thinking “I think I’m done here.”  He had passed away not that many years ago and I speak of him often and have sent some his books to others for inspiration as well.  I actually thought of this find as a sign not to give up as clear as if he would have come back to earth and spoken to me.  This is also the magic of being an author.  You never know when your words and ideas can actually become a blessing to others.  It’s why we are all here after all.  It’s not to have the most toys or be the winner or king, it’s to help one another in any way we can.

Oddly enough I come to find out that this pastor, who I truly believe did God’s work while he was here, predicted over 40 years ago, how the church was going to become political and liberalized much as it is now.  We finally have our first liberal Pope and there ain’t no such animal.  Most are so weak in spirit that they do not recognize a wolf in sheep’s clothing or in this case a liberal puppet in a robe.  He predicted they would use the name of Jesus freely but for their own ends not for the purpose of anything Godly.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Chaos in the World

Between the hypocrisy of our first liberal pope to the deliberate influx of undocumented people, mostly young able-bodied men, into many countries world-wide, there now appears to be mass chaos caused by our incompetent or corrupt leaders hidden agendas.

I have a feeling that we will never know what their real plan is, but it seems very likely they are trying to cause more instability in our world to make their global take over easier in the respect of the common man or peasants revolting against what they are doing since it will definitely lower most people’s standard of living or even a chance for a decent job anywhere.  If everything is too calm it will look suspicious to march in UN soldiers but if they can cause enough civil unrest by staged protest and bands of refugees who won’t fit in, then many citizens will be relieved for perceived protection from those same soldiers.

In America we counted on having a somewhat safe place to raise our family and the chance to compete fairly for jobs we were qualified for while trying to keep all the creditors at bay.  This has now become almost impossible.

I blame 9/11 and our current government for allowing this all to happen.  With the Presidential Election tomorrow everyone is hoping to make a difference, a change for the better and sadly unless we vote for a businessman that is a bit off the wall, but honest, we will not make any change with an ex-first lady  whose husband was almost impeached while in office.

Hillary Clinton has been involved in many unethical and corrupt or shady dealings since beginning her lengthy, but completely lackluster, career.  When she was in the State Department she was not just guilty of being a slacker and causing the deaths of some of our citizens that trusted in America to keep them safe, but of conflict of interest by the number of foreign entities she did business with while in office that donated to her private foundation.  The same foundation that never helped to build Haiti back up after the previous hurricane when claiming to do so.  I won’t even get into all the rumors of mysterious deaths and missing money.

She will carry on the tradition of President Obama and his failed Obamacare and believe me people, you ain’t seen nothing yet as to the problems this will bring in the near future.  This healthcare idea was her baby in the first place that she never brought to fruition.  This is a woman who owes many favors and is protected at every turn no matter what her sin.  Her campaign has been full of lies and dirty politics at their lowest, including hiring people to make trouble and even attack people at various Trump rallies.

You need to vote your conscience but as Franklin Graham says, pray before you go if you are not sure.  God’s will is the only way to vote.  Neither candidate is ideal but one to me is abhorrent.  If you are happy with the way our country is moving vote accordingly but remember what “someone” once said about insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Time of the Season

For some color.  And it couldn’t get more vibrant than red!

HeartandRose

Red for roses on Valentines Day.  And for the hearts!  It’s a very red day anyway.

There was also the National Wear Red Day that was celebrated or honored on Friday, February 5th this year.  When I was in Federal Service, we all wore red every Friday to support our troops.  We all should start doing this until every last soldier comes home!

The color red is the color of the blood shed on the actual day Saint Valentine was tortured and beheaded by an angry anti-Christ emperor named Claudius Gothicus that not only did not embrace Christianity himself, even though claiming to like Saint Valentine, demanded that he denounce Christ himself or be put to death.  He refused and Valentines Day is somehow an outcome of his martyrdom in the year of our Lord 269.  Strangely enough that emperor died of the plague, the following year.

On that same day, 1660 years later in Chicago another blood bath occurred known as the Saint Valentines Day Massacre.  Don’t some people just suck?!

Try not to think about it when you’re trading Valentine Day cards and giving your loved ones chocolates and flowers.  You are celebrating by doing the opposite of what this day had represented and isn’t that really what Saint Valentine would have wanted?  To continue the Christian tradition of loving one another.

1Corinthians 13 4 8

God bless!
