How hard can that be?
I know there is “none so blind as those who will not see” and that is the only reason I can think of that anyone would not recognize the Son of God. Is it their own fault? Yes. They do not have a heart for God. They only see what they wish to see.
Jesus said that people hated him because He removed the cloak from their sins. He was right and those that try to say Jesus was a liberal couldn’t be more wrong. He told people to “sin no more” and some listened because it was done out of love. Just because you have an urge to do something does not mean you should do it. It does not mean you were “born that way.” Having an urge to do something does not make it right and it is just about the worst reason to act on it. I am shocked and ashamed of the media craze to “do your own thing” regardless of what that is. Except public prayer or something horrible like that.
Does this mean that all those who do not recognize Jesus are evil? Obviously they would be easy marks for the evil one to puppet around. If you walk around with a “house well swept” and you do not fill it with the Word, the truth, you risk being taken over by any kind of influence our society offers. If there is no “good” inside of you, what’s there? Who do you serve? Humans are very easily influenced, but few are attracted to being good, doing the right thing or some other “sissy” sign of weakness.
People have long mocked and had contempt for good people and Jesus was the best. If you don’t love Him because you know who He is, you usually hate Him for the same reason.
I blame the liberals for the killing of these Marines and all the other terrorist acts in our country. Instead of saying ” Go and sin no more” like Jesus did in his time to those who walk in darkness, the liberal always says “go and sin because it’s your right.” This is the problem with America. They allow people with wrong ideas to run with them taking down everyone in their paths sooner or later.
There is no rebuking of the wrong, in fact quite the opposite. People are rewarded and parade their sins and evil with a “don’t judge me” attitude, all the while with hate and judgment in their hearts towards anyone who does not agree with them. These men that died are the very ones the liberals hate. Gun loving conservatives in their eyes. Some claim these are the men to fear. Problem is, without these guys, these heroes, you wouldn’t have the freedom to march down the street “doing your own thing.”
Everyone forgets what bought them their freedom because they appear to lack rationale and the ability to think critically. Many are mere puppets of the current liberal establishment that has our network news bought up and controlled by those with their own agendas, never allowing the truth to spoken, unless they place their slant on it.
God bless these brave men who risk their lives every day and I pray our government opens their eyes to all the cowardly enemies among us that they insist we blindly trust until something like this happens again. The real enemy is the stupidity that allows evil to dwell among us. The fact that so many prefer to walk in the dark and not follow Christ is the only reason we have terrorism. Most are no longer strong in the Word so they hang on to the liberal words of their current rulers. This is like building your life on sand instead of the solid rock of ages.
In case some are not aware of Christ teachings, he preached forgiveness and to pray for our enemies, not kill them. He told His followers to keep His commandment of loving one another.
I consider the American flag a symbol of patriotism, a sore subject with many liberals because they are being slowly brainwashed into the “One World Order” which is almost in place now thanks to the Democrats hard work.
I still have the first wall art purchased for my first apartment.
If you blog you probably are someone who has enough introspect to wonder why you are here. Why any of us are here.
I would contemplate that I was here to one day make some huge difference in the world like Mother Theresa or Gandhi. I used to think that people who really cared ran away from the 9 to 5 and went overseas to do mission work or something equally as dramatic.
I now realize that this is not for everyone and that usually good people are needed right where they are. In the first place you would need to speak the language of any foreign nation you go to or you wouldn’t be able to ask them where the rest room was, let alone communicate anything important to them. If everyone up and left for another land, who would minister to all the needy in their own town?
As an ex-workaholic, I have ministered to co-workers as well as some of my customers. Even when I worked for “the man!” I actually had one woman look me up later to thank me for taking the time to speak to her as a person, spiritually, that went beyond just helping her resolve the financial problems she was struggling with at the time.
It’s the idea of blooming where you’re planted. That God will place you where He needs you. He will put certain people in your path to help or be helped. People talk about making the most of the day and giving til it hurts but I don’t really agree. You are not supposed to make your life any more complicated than it already is and you are certainly not supposed to be hard on yourself about anything. You have the world for that.
All you can do is the best you can and that should never be a strain. I’m not saying you won’t be called to strain on occasion and only you know when and if the spirit will move you to make some type of great sacrifice. I know that you should never feel guilty for being who you are and where you are. God knows your life and what you are capable of. Life is not a contest. It’s life and it’s unpredictable and offers no guarantees of any kind. Even Jesus told people not to worry about tomorrow or what they will eat or drink.
I believe as long as you walk in the word and appreciate your blessings God will provide for you in the same manner that you provide for those God has given you.
Remembering the greatest sacrifice ever made in the history of the world. The day Jesus the Christ gave his life so that all who believed and keep his commandment of love for one another will be saved.
Jesus told them “If you love me keep my commandment.”
To those that love the Lord:
