Discover Challenge: Conventional Wisdom Continued

Oh if only wisdom would continue.  If only it was allowed, but I see that wisdom is mocked by the ignorant and there are way more of the ignorant than the wise on earth.  It’s the very reason for endless wars, greed, violence, jealousy and need I forget original sin, disobedience.  As is what is happening now “civil disobedience,” rioting, looting, marching, screaming in the streets for all kinds of stupid things, just to show your hatred and anger that you don’t have more, that you can’t do even more horrible things to others than you have already done.

Turns out that those Women’s Marches were far more insidious than what they claimed to be.  Most of us know about the perverted or demented things some of the women were doing and saying in these marches.  Some were arrested for disorderly conduct and I know of one instance of spitting in a police officers face.  Many made it known they were anti-Trump.  The were pro-abortion, saying things like “stay out of my vagina” while wearing “pussie hats,” as they called them, and yet most of them probably invited a lot of people to that very place because they are “free spirits” and think “women should have the same sexual freedom as a man,” which unfortunately they do not because women bear the children and sex is for procreation, not recreation.  It’s supposed to feel good to encourage you to keep the species going.  I don’t think it was ever in the cards that we become a bunch of selfish ninnies using other people’s bodies to masturbate with and that when the babies come, as we knew they would, they would just be discarded like that used condom should have been instead.

You have to be totally lacking in compassion and love in your very soul to not consider the life of an unborn child.  I respect all life no matter what it’s size or species.  But evil, evil’s another matter.  I will kick evil’s ass, no questions asked.  If you wish to be it’s vessel, you do it at your own peril in my presence.  I am not a violent person, but I will say what I think, in the name of Jesus, and I will do what I have to do depending on the circumstances.

I have noticed that many of the speakers, that are slowly becoming known, were kept secret by the media because they don’t want the pro-choice to look any worse than many of us already think they are.  Some of the women who marched, I’m sure, were just plain ignorant and some are damnably evil, because evil is as evil does.  Basically they were all just a group of liberal Demoncrats, full of hate, that wanted to disrupt the election of Donald J Trump, our 45th president of the United Stated of America.  They tried to bring respectability to their hate group by pretending it was about women’s issues, but their main theme was hate, pure hate and they proved it, though as usual downplayed by our liberal mainstream media.

There was the threats against our president’s life by various haters like Madonna, Ashley Judd and convicted of a brutal murder of a gay many years ago, ex-con Donna Hylton was there to offer up her hate in the usual hypocritical manner known to be a pattern for all liberals.  It is rumored that George Soros had a hand in backing this march and that an anti-Semite and border line terrorist Muslim woman by the name of Linda Sarsour was an integral part, which again shows the hypocrisy of the entire event.  Since when are Muslims pro-woman’s rights?  Many years ago it was headed that way, but for a number of years now, that part of the world is regressing.

My Million Dollar Question is:  Where were these kinds of protests when Bill Clinton was getting blow jobs in the oval office from a young intern?  That’s being a sexual predator, not locker room talk!  This man was impeached for misconduct but still stayed on the job and this was what these women were trying to get back into the White House in favor of Trump, as the “First Man!”  Again, twisted, obvious, hypocrisy!  If anyone walks in the light, they can see exactly what is going on in these, the end times.  You don’t have to be a rocket scientist, but you do have to have a heart for the Lord.  The only difference in then and now is the current rhetoric and propaganda against Trump and for the Clintons from our mainstream media that I no longer trust or respect.

These vile perversions of the truth remind me so much of what the Bible speaks of in the end times in 2 Timothy 3:1-7, actually the entire chapter.  These women have inspired me to write the latest of my many poems, “Sweet Demons.”  They come across as women “oh so sweet to help other women” but their intent is “demonic.”  Some of the words that Ashley Judd read from a teenagers poem “I’m a Nasty Woman” in which she states that pussies are for birthing a new generation of filthy, vulgar, bossy, brave, proud, nasty women.  If this is what you strive for, truly, you are lost.

Sweet Demons

The sweet demons come as angels of light

but they can’t fool anyone, they like to fight!

The sweet demons fool only the lost

and how this deception comes at a cost.

For the Godly see things as they really are

but it’s easy to fool those who wish on a star.

Empty vessels are houses for demons and friend,

not filled with the Word, you’ll come to your end.

For those of the world love of the flesh

you’ll be sorted out at the time of the thresh.

The worldly will love you as you love yourself

for satan is such a sly evil elf.

Your arrogance perverts you all with pride,

displaying the things that the righteous would hide.

Shame, though it’s natural, you think it’s wrong,

thank heaven your marches won’t be here for long.

You think you’re the right ones

that you are all winners

when the truth will win out

that you’re all actually sinners

God help you all!

We Are All Worthy of Love

I was in jail before I was born.

Very unique start for anyone and I don’t really want to go into details of why this is so, other than I come from a severely dysfunctional family and sometimes this happens to folks like us who never asked to be born in the first place. That’s why when I hear the heartless say that some “just make excuses” for their lives, I wish that they could take a walk in their shoes, if only for a day.

September has been declared National Suicide Prevention Awareness month. I hate all these “National this and that” but I guess if they did not do this, some things would be forgotten until they happen to us personally.   This is a subject that needs to be thought about since it adversely effects so many people.

There are many reasons that people decide they would “rather not be here.” These are the people that do not know their true worth and internalize guilt. They do not realize that life is very hard and horrible for most of us and that we really do have to remember that our “second wind” will come very shortly because life is nothing but change. They probably take everything way too seriously and personally maybe keep expecting things to work out exactly how they planned. Anyone who as ever tried or contemplated suicide knows exactly what I am talking about.

As someone who has survived a suicide attempt as a teenager, I know the dangers of our thought process, especially when we don’t know any better, and just how much anger has to do with this decision.   I would honestly say that anger, not sadness, is more to do with this act. Supposedly depression is anger internalized. I could never express anger when I was young or I would have been severely punished. I saw anger all the time from my parents and even siblings, but thought I just didn’t have it in me to be mad until I started getting older. I would react in fear all the time. Fear turns to anger after a while, that’s just a fact. You can only fear for so long then you begin to get very angry at that intimidating factor, whatever it may be. This is how revolutions are born, by the way.

Jesus saves, even today. LOVE ONE ANOTHER! It is commanded, which means it’s not if you feel like it, but it’s something you must do and I wonder why? Look around and if you cannot see that Jesus is the only truth, life and way, then you are kidding yourself.  Everyone deserves love and should act like it by giving this needed love to others as well.

Chorus from Casting Crowns “Who Am I?”

“I am a flower quickly fading, here today and gone tomorrow

a wave tossed in the ocean, a vapor in the wind.

Still you hear me when I’m calling, Lord, you catch me

when I’m falling and you’ve told me who I am.

                                           I am yours!”

Achieving Your Dreams

Has anyone ever really done that?

When I look at the shambles that is my life, I am amazed.

I always thought when you tried to do everything right, played by the rules, sacrificed, worked hard and loved that you would live “happily ever after.”

To quote Nick Cage in Moonstruck “We are here to ruin ourselves and to break our hearts and love the wrong people and die!  The storybooks are bullshit!”

The biggest disappointment I have ever found in life was the fact that you can’t change other people.  You can’t make someone love you if they don’t, no matter how hard you try to make it work.  It shouldn’t be this way, but then a lot of things shouldn’t be that way.

I guess that’s why I like “The Station.”  Here is a reprint if you are not familiar with it.

The Station

by Robert J. Hastings

Tucked away in our subconscious is an idyllic vision.  We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent.  We are traveling by train.  Out the windows we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls.

But uppermost in our minds is the final destination.  On a certain day at a certain hour we will pull into the station.  Bands will be playing and flags waving.  Once we get there so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle.  How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering – waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.

“When we reach the station, that will be it!” we cry.  “When I’m 18.”  “When I buy a new 450SL Mercedes-Benz!”  “When I put the last kid through college.”  “When I have paid off the mortgage!”  “When I get a promotion.”  “When I reach the age of retirement, I shall live happily ever after!”

Sooner or later we must realize there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all.  The true joy of life is the trip.  The station is only a dream.  It constantly outdistances us.

“Relish the moment” is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”  It isn’t the burdens of today that drive men mad.  It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow.  Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today.

So, stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles.  Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more, cry less.  Life must be lived as we go along.  The station will come soon enough.

And all of us will be getting off then so I did as the gentleman suggested and I ate more ice cream tonight.  I know I can’t live forever and as someone who painstakingly always ate right and worked out the first half century of my life, I hope my body can withstand the extra fat and sugar.  If not, I’ll find out soon enough.

I’m eating ice cream for two now.  Me and my broken dreams!

Daily Prompt: Get it, Before it’s Too Late

I am amazed at the ignorance of people.  Many are now of the thought that they should just be doing their own thing, living their dream, letting it all hang out and so on.  Sounds selfish to me.  In every society we all need to contribute and respect one another.  There is no other way.  We all have a right to the life God gave us and no one has the right to destroy it in any way.  The fact that anyone would think they can harm another and not have the same thing done to them is not realistic.

People that abuse, insult or harm others don’t like themselves and that’s too bad.  I often wonder what was done to them that completely destroyed their psyche and hope for happiness and a good life.  Maybe they had ignorant parents that were too hard on them or maybe they lack the ability to think thoughts deep enough to even care to understand anything.

I really don’t think that most people get why they are even here because our society is very confusing at best.  This poem I wrote is simple, but tries to explain it.  Think before you hurt anyone because it is written that it will come back to you one way or the other, sooner or later.  Treat others as you wish to be treated even if they don’t deserve it.

Still Dancing as Fast as I Can

dancingshoesMy poem is sort of a twist on Aesop’s “Fox and the Grapes.”

Trying to Dance

I tried to dance but stubbed my toe

a very long, long time ago.

But since I really like to dance

I thought I’d take another chance.

I’m shocked my shoes no longer fit,

not even just a little bit.

I tried another larger pair

but soon the seams began to tear.

Found some that fit, but here’s the rub

another toe, another stub.

Not sure if I’ve been fairly fated,

I think that dancing’s overrated!

Instant Karma

As a Christian I do believe in what goes around comes around, reaping what you sow or “Christian Karma.”

John Lennon was truly one of the best song writers who ever lived with a great heart and mind.

So as the saying goes, the good died young thanks to the usual lame, jealous evil.
