Magic is false. Trickery like “smoke and mirrors.” Miracles are unexplained occurences that are very real indeed to those blessed enough to experience them. I believe that they happen more often than many think but most are not aware of it.
Even though I try not to be superstitious, I am the type that would see “Jesus” in a Jesus shape on my pancake. There’s a lot of that going around and I did see a “king” in a rainbow print that I posted about previously. I’m sure someone else would have just been upset because of the stain.
I also know there are no coincidences or so they say. I’ve lost a lot in my life. Enough to make lesser people completely give up and funny I recently was about to do just that when I came across a book written by someone I once knew many years ago, a well known pastor by the name of David Wilkerson who wrote “The Cross and the Switchblade” that was turned into a movie. Some of you may be familiar with it. I had never before seen the book that got my attention with a jolt, “Have You Felt Like Giving Up Lately” just when I was thinking “I think I’m done here.” He had passed away not that many years ago and I speak of him often and have sent some his books to others for inspiration as well. I actually thought of this find as a sign not to give up as clear as if he would have come back to earth and spoken to me. This is also the magic of being an author. You never know when your words and ideas can actually become a blessing to others. It’s why we are all here after all. It’s not to have the most toys or be the winner or king, it’s to help one another in any way we can.
Oddly enough I come to find out that this pastor, who I truly believe did God’s work while he was here, predicted over 40 years ago, how the church was going to become political and liberalized much as it is now. We finally have our first liberal Pope and there ain’t no such animal. Most are so weak in spirit that they do not recognize a wolf in sheep’s clothing or in this case a liberal puppet in a robe. He predicted they would use the name of Jesus freely but for their own ends not for the purpose of anything Godly.
The Words of Christ are never outdated and something to keep in your hearts.
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love they neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
I don’t care who you voted for in America but you don’t have a right to throw a big hairy fit if you candidate does not win and you certainly don’t have the right to destroy someone’s property, burn our country’s flag and assault or kill innocent people who don’t agree with you.
America, love it or leave it! The people of this country have spoken and you will accept it or leave it for sure! You don’t have the right to ruin things for the rest of us like some dirty little terrorist.
I believe this “liberal” environment that has been encouraged by our media and others has gotten completely out of control in this country. Their very ideology is selfish and ludicrous. “I want this, I want that, do it my way!” Just like unreasonable, naughty two-year olds. I always knew who the real deplorable ones were and if there was any doubt there sure isn’t now. Selfish and ignorant people can do real damage in groups and sometimes think they are doing good when they carry on and abuse people that have nothing to do with their issue and don’t deserve to be the brunt of their anger. I believe that seeing people act this way just encourages other malcontents to join in with disastrous results.
These are the kinds of people who believe that if you scream loud enough, you will get your way. Much like they should have found out with mommy, this doesn’t always work. Sometimes you will get a good spanking and sent to your room. Karma is real and how you treat others, so shall it be done unto you and you deserve it, good or bad.
I am praying that the police and soldiers when they are finally called in will be safe. If the Democrats are just allowing this to escalate to the point of martial law being declared and President Obama stays in office longer, we will also know that some are right in believing this is the reason for all of this. Some believe George Soros has a lot to do with these riots and the problems at the Trump rallies before. I personally blame our liberal media for all the propaganda used to make Trump look bad and Hillary look good throughout. It has been a disgusting travesty of truth and justice to anyone that is informed about what is really going on.
Between the hypocrisy of our first liberal pope to the deliberate influx of undocumented people, mostly young able-bodied men, into many countries world-wide, there now appears to be mass chaos caused by our incompetent or corrupt leaders hidden agendas.
I have a feeling that we will never know what their real plan is, but it seems very likely they are trying to cause more instability in our world to make their global take over easier in the respect of the common man or peasants revolting against what they are doing since it will definitely lower most people’s standard of living or even a chance for a decent job anywhere. If everything is too calm it will look suspicious to march in UN soldiers but if they can cause enough civil unrest by staged protest and bands of refugees who won’t fit in, then many citizens will be relieved for perceived protection from those same soldiers.
In America we counted on having a somewhat safe place to raise our family and the chance to compete fairly for jobs we were qualified for while trying to keep all the creditors at bay. This has now become almost impossible.
I blame 9/11 and our current government for allowing this all to happen. With the Presidential Election tomorrow everyone is hoping to make a difference, a change for the better and sadly unless we vote for a businessman that is a bit off the wall, but honest, we will not make any change with an ex-first lady whose husband was almost impeached while in office.
Hillary Clinton has been involved in many unethical and corrupt or shady dealings since beginning her lengthy, but completely lackluster, career. When she was in the State Department she was not just guilty of being a slacker and causing the deaths of some of our citizens that trusted in America to keep them safe, but of conflict of interest by the number of foreign entities she did business with while in office that donated to her private foundation. The same foundation that never helped to build Haiti back up after the previous hurricane when claiming to do so. I won’t even get into all the rumors of mysterious deaths and missing money.
She will carry on the tradition of President Obama and his failed Obamacare and believe me people, you ain’t seen nothing yet as to the problems this will bring in the near future. This healthcare idea was her baby in the first place that she never brought to fruition. This is a woman who owes many favors and is protected at every turn no matter what her sin. Her campaign has been full of lies and dirty politics at their lowest, including hiring people to make trouble and even attack people at various Trump rallies.
You need to vote your conscience but as Franklin Graham says, pray before you go if you are not sure. God’s will is the only way to vote. Neither candidate is ideal but one to me is abhorrent. If you are happy with the way our country is moving vote accordingly but remember what “someone” once said about insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
This song has always stayed with me since I first hear it in My Father’s Eyes by Amy Grant in 1982.
It’s not that I really like it as a great melody but I like the words.
There were actually many years that I only listened to Christian Rock type music and not the typical church hymn which I found so lackluster when sung by lackluster people who only sing in church when told it’s time to sing. Very different when you have the songs in your heart and you can’t stop them from coming out with passion.
Sing Your Praise to the Lord is close but then so is I Need You by the Swift.
Thank you Jesus for loving me. Thank you that I know you.
